Internal transformation skills as a complement to structural school development

Education

Educational policy reform programmes provide the necessary structural impetus. Investments in Infrastructure, Multi-Professional Teams and Quality Development are central levers of sustainable school development. At the same time, practice shows that structural measures are only fully effective if they are combined with systematic competence development at individual and organizational level. We see ourselves as architects of inner transformation skills in education. By inner transformation competence, we include the professional skills that are required for sustainable implementation processes:

• Self-regulation under stress

• Systemic and complexity-oriented thinking

• Ability to relate and cooperate

• Conflict transformation

• Sustainable implementation capacity

International discourses, for example as part of the Inner Development Goals, emphasize the relevance of these dimensions for transformation processes in complex systems.

With the Umbraise Loop, we transfer this perspective into a structured school implementation logic. This systematically strengthens professional capacity and increases institutional resilience. Our approach is intended as a supplement to existing reform programs and as a contribution to ensuring equal opportunities in the long term.
